I received a whole bunch of great stuff from @TDRrecords today! Can’t wait to listen to everything :)
So I had a fairly terrible day today. Coming home to a package from TDR, then opening it to find all of this really made everything so much better. Yes, I’m happy that I now own a copy of Delightfully Pleased by Punchline, but it’s so much more than that. I received my first piece of vinyl in this package, the Punchline / Over It Split 7 inch. I have no means to play it, but I’ve always wanted to start collecting vinyl. That’s just significant to me. Also, the blue piece of paper seen under the Punchline CD on the top right corner was a note from the owner of the label. It’s simple and funny, but it honestly made me smile more than anything else. I really love to see that kind of appreciation for the fans / consumers.
Basically, this package couldn’t have come at a better time.
Also, go support this label! Good people, good music.
